The 2008 Kells to Kells will be run in two stages.
Leaving 11am Kells Co. Antrim to M1 Junction 8 Sprucefield for a 30 minute stop for those who need fuel. This gives an opportunity for bikers from the Co. Down/Armagh regions to join the ride out if unable to make the Kells start. For those unable to continue on to Kells Co. Meath the Sprucefield stop offers the local biker an opportunity to show support in raising funds for the air ambulance by participating in the shorter Kells start to Sprucefield stretch.
The second stage is a non-stop run from Sprucefield to Kells Co. Meath arriving mid afternoon at Fairgreen in Kells town centre to an atmosphere of live entertainment and trade stalls for the biker. Camping is available for those who wish to stay for the Sunday races.

Each rider is reminded that this is a ride out and not a sprint to the finish. There will be a mix of every bike type with various levels of rider experience. The ride out will proceed within road speed limits with the emphases on safety and the enjoyment of those participating.
